REQUIREMENTS
By paying this 50 5 Deposit, I understand and agree:
1. That I will abide meticulously and precisely by any and all safety procedures required by
Majority Arms, LLC. and that I agree to sign a statement releasing Majority Arms, LLC. from any
injury I may sustain during the training session.
2. That the operations of Majority Arms, LLC. depend upon careful control of deadly firearms
by each student and such control and safety is dependent upon the committed cooperation of its
clients; therefore, I understand that my instruction may be terminated, without a refund, at any time
during the course if my conduct is deemed unsatisfactory by staff.
3. I will be at least 18 years of age at the time of class or will be accompanied by or have the
express permission of my parent or guardian, who will accept full responsibility for my actions.
**Please note that those applicants under 18 years of age must obtain prior permission to attend a class.

5. I am legally able to purchase a firearm.
- Proof of no criminal background. We accept the TWIC card, proof of current employment at Hospital or School District, AK Conceal Carry Permit or we will run a background check for a cost of $5.00
- Revolver or semi-automatic handgun* (Full size gun recommended), Smallest caliber allowed is .380
- Hip holster, call or email for recommendations
- 2 extra magazines (3 magazines total) or 2 revolver speed loaders
- 350-400 rounds of ammunition
- Appropriate clothing (ball cap, closed toe footwear, etc.)
- Safety glasses and hearing protection (those hard of hearing must wear electronic ear muffs)
- A packed lunch
- A safe mindset and a positive attitude
- An Uplula Universal Speed Loader is HIGHLY recommended (you won’t regret the purchase)

- Basics of how a firearm and ammo function
- Firearm safety
- Proper mindset for surviving a violent situation
- Principles of self-defense
- Situational Awareness
- Marksmanship
- Drawing safely from the Holster
- Fundamentals of shooting using the Modern Pistol Technique
- Proper gun-handling skills.
- Tactical and speed reloads, trigger control, clearing malfunctions (Type 1, 2 and 3) and stepping off the ‘X’ , finding your balance of accuracy and speed, moving with a gun and handling a firearm under stress.
- After completion of this class, you will be eligible to attend the Law Enforcement lecture portion of a Concealed Carry class to obtain your Alaska Concealed Carry Permit for an additional $50 which includes fingerprinting and photo.
